Celebrity Cruises launches biggest-ever agent incentive
Celebrity Cruises will give away a total of £125,000 to travel agents during its new wave campaign.
Agents will have the opportunity to earn up to £1,500, via Celebrity Rewards, and the cruise line said it was prioritising rewarding agents with cash prizes over the next three months.
The 100 top performing agents between now and 1 March 2023 will earn £500 each.
Agents will also have the chance to win additional cash prizes for making multiple bookings.
The first of the ‘Sell More, Win More prize’ draws will see 50 agents who make 10 or more bookings win £500 each. In the second draw, 25 agents who secure 20 or more will win £1,000 each.
Celebrity said it will also reward new starters in the industry, as well as those new to the brand, with a £25 bonus per booking for the first five they claim through Celebrity Central.
All agents will be able to earn £5 when booking an Inside or Oceanview stateroom, £10 for a Balcony, Concierge or Aquaclass stateroom, and £20 when booking in the Retreat or for sailings to the Galapagos Islands.
The line said that further incentives will follow in January.
Celebrity Cruises ‘listening’ to agents
Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland sales director Claire Stirrup said: “Listening to what our travel partners need is absolutely a top priority at Celebrity Cruises.
“We’ve shaped this Celebrity Moments campaign entirely around the feedback from our travel agent panels, which told us that cash prizes are what will mean the most to travel agents this year.
“New starters are vital to the growth of the industry so we’re also listening to their feedback by going further to include them in this year’s Celebrity Moments campaign, celebrating their first bookings with bonus earnings.
“We recognise the value of the incredible support we receive right across our travel partner community, so it is important we give everyone the chance to maximise their earning potential.”
In November, Celebrity revealed that Celebrity Apex, the line’s second Edge-class ship, will homeport in Southampton for its full 2024 season.
