Azamara reveals new destination immersion campaign

Azamara Onward world voyage

Azamara has launched a new multiplatform campaign named ‘Change the Way You Sea’.

The campaign aims to “shift the perspective of travellers by going beyond the traditional cruise experience, offering longer stays and overnights”, according to the cruise line.

‘Change the Way You Sea’ will showcase the sights that guests will see on board and off the ship through print, digital, social media and streaming TV.

Azamara president Carol Cabezas said: “We understand our guests are looking for new experiences at a more relaxed pace, and to make memorable connections with the destination and its locals.

“At Azamara, our thoughtfully crafted itineraries offer those explorers the time to immerse themselves into the culture and discover each destination by day and night for an enriching and fulfilling cruise experience. Our latest campaign really brings Azamara’s objective to life.”

Azamara plans new experiences

Azamara will visit more than 350 ports, with 430 overnight stays and 850 late nights across the fleet over the coming cruise seasons.

The line will introduce new pre and post land opportunities for guests, including a ride on Switzerland’s Glacial Express Train, a day excursion to Mount Rigi, and a sunset cruise in Lucerne, as part of the AzAmazing Journeys concept.

A variety of new, smaller maiden ports will also been introduced, such as Alta, Norway; Brest, France; Cesme, Turkey; and Fredericia, Denmark.

Azamara will also operate its first world voyage in 2024, on new ship Azamara Onward.

The 155-night cruise will depart on 5 January 2024 and include 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in port.
