AmaWaterways ‘excited’ for 2025 programme
Elsewhere, another new ship, AmaSintra, will join AmaDouro and AmaVida on the Douro.
AmaSintra will offer a choice of two seven-night itineraries – the Enticing Douro, a roundtrip journey from Porto, and Flavours of Portugal & Spain, between Porto to Vega de Terron, Spain.
A new itinerary will also be available on the Danube, called the Imperial Danube.
This seven-night cruise will sail roundtrip from Budapest, visiting the likes of Bratislava, Durnstein and Vienna.
Citing “increased demand for longer holidays”, the line is also bringing back its 14-night Magnificent Europe, cruising between Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Budapest.
AmaWaterways co-founder and president Rudi Schreiner said: “With 2023 shaping up to be a very successful year and all indications pointing to a record breaking 2024, we could not be more excited to announce the opening of reservations for our 2025 itineraries,.
“To meet the growing demand for river cruising, we will have additional ships in Colombia and Portugal, which brings our award-winning fleet to 29 river cruise ships welcoming between 28 and 196 guests each.”
