UK travel agents will be among the first to experience Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ upcoming vessel Seven Seas Grandeur.
Speaking to Cruise Trade News, senior director of sales UK Paul Beale said Regent will host several agents during the vessel’s preview voyage in November.
“This will be an incredible opportunity to sail onboard our newest ship,” Beale added. “They will be able to speak to potential customers from their own personal experience – adding a layer of authenticity that will set a Regent itinerary apart.
“Our travel partners are hugely valued, they are a large part of our business, and we want to ensure we equip them with the best tools to sell the Regent experience.”
Regent finalising plans for 2024 ship visit programme for agents
It comes as the line continues to organise its 2024 ship visit programme, which Beale said will include regional ports and a “comprehensive” educational guide.
Additionally, the brand will be launching a new “Regent University” course, an online training initiative which will offer agents the chance to learn more about the brand.
“We offer some of the most competitive commission rates in the industry, so we develop these new and innovative training tools to help support our travel partners in selling voyages as successfully as possible,” Beale said.
It comes after the company hosted several agents on an “ultimate ship visit” event in Venice last week.
