Advantage promotes Jonny Peat to senior cruise commercial manager

Advantage Travel Partnership appoints new commercial manager for cruise

The Advantage Travel Partnership has promoted Jonny Peat to senior commercial manager for cruise with immediate effect.

In his new role, Peat, who was formerly commercial manager of the consortium’s cruise division, will report to head of commercial John Sullivan and take full control of the partnership’s end-to-end cruise proposition.

His promotion was announced at the agency group’s annual cruise conference onboard Uniworld’s Joie de Vie ship docked in Paris.

Peat joined Advantage 18 months ago and has led a number of key strategic initiatives over the last year which have culminated in the group delivering more than half a billion pounds of cruise revenue annually.

He also redeveloped Advantage’s Latitude offering, which is now made up of 300 members, representing a 200% increase with plans to double the number over the next twelve months.

Advantage ‘allowed me to grow and develop’, says Peat

“Since Jonny joined us our cruise proposition has gone from strength to strength,” said Sullivan. “In the last 18 months, he has completely redesigned our cruise offering, ensuring that our 300 Latitude members and the wider membership receive the very best support and we also consistently deliver for our business partners.”

“I am delighted to have been recognised with this promotion,” Peat added. “Advantage has allowed me to grow and develop in the time that I have been with the partnership, and it’s been very gratifying to see the success we have achieved over the last year.

“I absolutely love working with members and business partners and cruise remains a passion of mine. I am very excited by the far-reaching strategy we have set ourselves for 2024 which will see us deliver even more value to our members and business partners.”
