MSC World Europa to spend winter 2026-27 in Caribbean as Middle East sailings axed

MSC Cruises has revised the deployment of MSC World Europa for winter 2026-27 due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East

The ship was scheduled to operate a series of Middle Eastern cruises from November 2026 to April 2027, but will now spend the winter sailing a range of seven and 14-night itineraries in the Caribbean, calling at ports in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Saint Maarten, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

MSC World Europa will replace MSC Seaview in the Caribbean and MSC Seaview will be redeployed to Brazil and Argentina for the winter 2026-27 season.

Affected MSC World Europa customers and travel agents are being contacted directly and provided with information regarding their options, including moving their booking to another sailing or receiving a full refund.

Customers booked on MSC Seaview’s winter Caribbean sailings will automatically be transferred onto MSC World Europa so will see no changes to their itineraries and need not take any action.

MSC Cruises said MSC World Europa will return to the Middle East for winter 2027-28, calling at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas, Bahrain and Doha.

MSC Cruises is the latest line to announce deployment changes due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Explora Journeys has cancelled its 2026-27 winter Middle East programme on Explora II while Celestyal has scrapped all Mediterranean sailings in April as it struggles to reposition its ships from the Arabian Gulf to Greece.
