Crystal clear

The Crystal Cruises brand has built an enviable reputation for its quality of service and the experience it provides on board and ashore, across both ocean and river cruises. This will soon expand into the expedition market, as Crystal prepares to welcome guests on board its expedition yacht, Crystal Endeavor. The ship’s destinations will include Antarctica, Japan, the Russian Far East, Alaska, Australia and the Northeast Passage. An Island Exploration of Japan cruise departs 13 September 2020. Splendour on the seas

Big things are happening at Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Its new luxury vessel, Seven Seas Splendor, launches in February next year and is set to wow guests with its 15 suite categories – each catering to every whim or desire. Intimacy refined

The ‘Seabourn Difference’, as the cruise line describes it, is all about the evolution of a private club atmosphere on small, intimate ships. Seabourn’s collection of curated cruises and ocean-front suites put guests into the heart of a destination, giving them the time to explore and experience new worlds, safe in the knowledge that a luxurious home from home awaits them when they embark their ship. From Alaska to Africa, and Australia to Northern Europe, the Seabourn fleet covers the globe. A 21-day Atlantic & Caribbean Idyll cruise, departing 2 November 2019 on the Seabourn Odyssey, costs £5,699pp.

One of a kind

There really is very little that can compare to the decor on a Uniworld ship. Bold, brave, striking – however guests choose to see it, there’s no denying it makes an impact. Coupled with splendid service and the world’s most-sought after destinations, it makes for an impressive combination, and one that more and more people are keen to experience. In-suite butlers go above and beyond the call of duty, while culinary masterpieces are an everyday occurrence. A 10-day Magnificent Moselle and Rhine river cruise starts at £2,589pp, departing 29 July 2019 on River Queen.

Fashion forward

The Cunard brand is awash with history, but that does not mean that this luxury cruise line is afraid of thinking outside the box. Its fifth annual Transatlantic Fashion Week, on flagship vessel Queen Mary 2, will bring fashion icons such as Mark Badgley and James Mischka of the eponymous brand on board for a seven-night crossing to New York. In addition to a fashion show, guests will be treated to Q&A sessions with guest speakers. The cruise departs Southampton on 24 May 2020. Prices start from £949pp for an inside cabin.
