Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has launched its 2025/26 itinerary collection, enhancing its focus on destination immersion and unforgettable experiences

It’s been a busy start to the year if you’re a Fred Olsen Cruise Line journey planner. The line’s team has been hard at work crafting a new programme of international itineraries, with each one designed to help guests gain an even deeper understanding of some of the world’s most seductive destinations.

Enhanced by its fleet of smaller ships which reach several lesser-known cruise hubs, Fred Olsen’s 2025/26 programme is geared up perfectly to thrill returning customers while attracting new-to-cruise guests, as well.

Highlights include the Norway’s Arctic Islands & Mountainous Vistas sailing, which departs 17 June 2025 on board Balmoral from Rosyth. The 10-night cruise comes in at £1,599pp and calls in Lofoten and Vesteralen, and is timed to give guests the chance to witness the Midnight Sun.

Elsewhere, the 16-night Discovering the Colourful French Riviera itinerary on board Bolette departs Liverpool on 23 June 2025 and comes in at £2,599pp. Customers can discover the allure of Marseille, where lively markets like Cours Lafayette burst with colours and flavours.

Meanwhile, the 14-night Canary Islands Christmas & Funchal Fireworks voyage on board Bolette departs Liverpool on 22 December 2025. Guests will not only enjoy a host of festivities on board, they’ll also see in the New Year by witnessing the spectacle of the Portuguese city’s famous New Year’s fireworks display.

Immersion specialists

If the depth and breadth of these itineraries wasn’t enough, guests will be further immersed into some of the world’s most famous destinations through Fred Olsen’s industry-leading culinary offering. Main restaurants vary per ship, with a-la-carte, afternoon tea and buffets available, while Colours & Tastes, which offers Asian fusion delicacies, and Indian restaurant Vasco harness locally sourced produce to provide a memorable dining experience.

The line also offers various signature experiences such as Scenic Discoveries, where onboard experts provide insightful commentary on sailed to regions, and Itinerary Insights, which features guest speakers who delve into local histories on shore. Treats of the Region, meanwhile, offers insights into each ships’ on board gastronomy.

Finally, Sky at Sea allows guests to spend an evening reclining on the top deck under blankets while listening to astronomers bring the night sky to life.
