Terms & Conditions

1. To enter, you must be: (a) a resident of the United Kingdom, (b) a current employee of a recognised travel agent and (c) 21 years old or over.   
2. Cruise Trade News reserves the right to request proof of eligibility, including employment status and select a new prize recipient if the winner does not meet the criteria in condition.  
3. You will be asked to provide proof of trade address and reply via your business email before prizes are issued.  
4. Following the request for proof of trade, a reply is required within 24 hours. After this time the prize is reallocated, and a new winner is randomly generated.  
5. No purchase necessary  
6. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash  
7. Entrants are only allowed one entry  
8. Offers are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of Cruise Trade News, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines or its subsidiary companies  
9. By accepting our terms and conditions, you agree to receive email marketing and postal marketing communications from Cruise Trade News and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.  
10. Any personal information that you provide to Cruise Trade News, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and its subsidiary companies will be treated in accordance with current UK Data Protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent. Data will be used for the purposes of administering this competition and contacting winners.  
11. Cruise Trade News and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines reserve the right to substitute an alternative prize of a similar value due to any unforeseen circumstances.

14. Cruise Trade News reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Cruise Trade News may also create rules which will apply to a specific offer only. If we do this we will publish the amended offer rules and/or specific offer rules on the relevant offer page.  
15. Entrants must be 21 or over. The winner will receive a message confirming their prize. They will also be contacted directly by phone and/or email. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' decision on the prize winner and prize will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will treat entrants’ information as private and keep it secure but reserves the right to use the winner’s name, hometown, agency name, photography and comments in future publicity or promotional material. 
16. The Grand Prize is a Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines cruise for two people on Cruise T2711, Tulip Season in the Netherlands, departing Newcastle on 25 April 2027 for 6 nights. The prize includes accommodation in an Ocean View twin cabin, Fred. Olsen's dining drinks package and gratuities. 
    The prize is provided on a cruise-only basis and does not include transport to or from the port. Additional expenses, including but not limited to parking, travel insurance and onboard spending, are not included. 
    All guests must hold a full and valid passport with at least six months' validity from the final day of the cruise. Failure to meet passport requirements may result in denied boarding, for which Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines accepts no liability. 
    This prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be resold. No cash alternative, refund or credit will be offered under any circumstances. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount. If Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is required to cancel the sailing for any reason, a suitable alternative cruise of equivalent value will be offered. No cash alternative or refund will be provided in place of a cancelled sailing. 
    The winner is solely responsible for any tax liabilities arising from acceptance of the prize. Guests must arrange and maintain comprehensive travel insurance, including cruise-specific cover, cancellation and curtailment protection, medical and repatriation expenses, and cover for any applicable infectious illness-related claims. Boarding may be refused if adequate insurance cover cannot be demonstrated. 
    Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions where reasonably necessary. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. E&OE.
