About Dubrovnik
The city of Dubrovnik has become popular with cruisers for the magnificent architecture and views overlooking the Adriatic. Ships dock at the nearby Gruz harbour, with shuttles ferrying the guests the few miles into the well-preserved historical town. The pedestrian-only Old Town, encased by walls dating back to the 9th century, is full of markets as well as a view over the Terracotta rooftops. Visitors can also meander along the famous 300m long limestone-paved thoroughfare, Stradun, originally used as a sea channel.
