A-Rosa itineraries are now bookable through Travel 2’s dedicated cruising segment, Cruise Plus.

The move enables agents to book the river cruise line’s entire international programme for 2020 and 2021. Travel 2 will combine A-Rosa’s cruise itineraries with flights and transfers.

A-Rosa will be featured in Cruise Plus by Travel 2’s upcoming luxury, river and expedition brochure, as well as its mini brochure that is designed for the January peak period.

The line will also work with Cruise Plus by Travel 2 to educate staff on how to sell the product and the key selling points. Plans include fam trips, staff training and ship visits, as well as staff competitions and more. In addition, staff will be able to take advantage of special rates.

A-Rosa UK & Ireland managing director Lucia Rowe said: “This new partnership means that agents will have yet another tour operator to choose from when selling A-Rosa. Furthermore, as Cruise Plus by Travel 2 is a B2B business that communicates solely with agents, it further reinforces our commitment to sell only via our trade partners.

“This exciting development will strengthen our FIT sales and is the first step for us towards growing this lucrative market. It will open up our entire portfolio to UK agents, making the product more accessible than ever before.”

Travel 2 senior product and commercial manager Mark Henderson added: “We are excited to be working with the team at A-Rosa, opening up an even wider product breadth for our agent partners.

“Cruising continues to be a stand out success of our business and over the last 12 months Travel 2 has put real effort into further developing the offering. We’ve invested in new staff, signed up many new operators and are committed to getting the training right for our colleagues.”

A-Rosa recently announced a new website created solely for the UK market.
