Emerald Waterways has announced its launch on Traveltek’s iSell platform enabling agents to search for and book the line’s European river cruises all in one place.

The move follows sister brand Scenic’s addition to the platform in February opening up both lines’ entire programmes to agents across the UK.

Dawn Quinn, acting National Sales Manager for the brands believes the introduction of Emerald Waterways to the portal alongside its sister company will continue to ‘propel the One-Stop Shop for River Cruising’ to the front of agents’ minds as its cruises become ‘easier to book than ever before’.

Quinn commented: “24/7 accessibility, detailed itineraries and ship overviews plus the ability to price live availability, choose cabins and ultimately confirm sailings all in one place means our river cruises are easier to book than ever.

“Traveltek is a key tool for us in propelling both brands to agents across the country using an industry-respected platform that provides both an excellent training and booking tool.

“Confident agents can quickly identify and price itineraries, while agents who are new to booking both Emerald Waterways and Scenic can understand the brands, what’s included, ship and cabin facilities and the key ports of each itinerary – the possibilities are really exciting.”

New bookings made via the Traveltek platform between July and August 2017 will be entered into a prize draw to win 1,000 River Rewards points. Points earnt in the River Rewards scheme can be redeemed against a collection of luxury gifts and experiences including premium make-up and fragrance, designer clothing, high-end experience days and the latest in technology.

Emerald Waterways has launched three new ships for 2017; the Emerald Destiny sailing the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, the Emerald Liberté on France’s Rhône river and the Emerald Radiance on Portugal’s Douro river.

Its 2018 main edition brochure officially launched on 1 June featuring three new itineraries.
